Autumn Cranberry, Pecans and Applesauce Granola {Gluten Free}

Simple and healthy, maple-sweetened Autumn granola, with gluten free rolled oats, cranberries, pecan nuts, applesauce and hemp seeds.

  • 250 g gluten free rolled oats
  • 50 g dried cranberries
  • 80 g pecan nuts, chopped
  • 30 g hemp seeds
  • 150 g homemade applesauce
  • 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon powder
  • Pinch of unrefined sea salt
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Line a baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
  2. Combine oats, cinnamon, chopped pecan nuts and hemp seeds in a large bowl.
  3. Place the applesauce, oil and maple syrup in a small bowl and stir to combine. Pour over the oats mixture and mix until the oats are thoroughly coated.
  4. Spread on the baking sheet and cook in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Give it a stir halfway.
  5. When the granola looks toasty brown, take it out from the oven and add the cranberries.
  6. Leave the granola to cool down on the pan without stirring it, that's when it gets crunchy.
  7. Store in an airtight glass jar in refrigerator.
